I tell my girlfriend all the time, nothing wrong with that.

If you do love someone, always tell them, it makes you feel good, and them even better!

When you've been friends for 5 years, minimum. And when you've been dating/married for 15 years, minimum. Unless you have kids. Then sure. Don't want the children to suspect anything, you know?

When you actually feel that way. And just a tip, when you start saying it, don't overuse it quite yet. When you spit it out every time you see her, it means that much less. Hate and love have lost their meanings in this society I feel. You say it only when you are sure you love her, and at the perfect moments, there's nothing I'd rather hear to be honest.

When you feel the time to say it is right. My boyfriend started saying it 4 weeks into our relationship. I started saying it 2 months in. My feelings for him were strong, but I only said it when I knew I meant it, even if it wasn't at the same time as him.

love is for fools that fall behind.
but seriously. just think about it. most people, in my opinion really don't know what love is. and throwing that word around be a bad idea, considering most highschool relationsships dont last long.
besides, it's highschool. you have many more years to find what love really is. the relationships you have now are a learning experience.
