does masturbation promote/increase acne?

i remember i read somewhere that if you masturbate a lot, you may get acne alot. and im starting to think its true. i mean, i wash my face with an acne cleanser everyday and it seems to be working. then yesterday i was touching my cheek and i felt a little pain so i went to a mirror to check out whats wrong and i can see that a big pimple was gonna form right on my cheek. and i cant mess with it or anything because if i do im gonna start bleeding and no pus is gonna come out. and i also realized that i have been masturbating at least once for about 4 straight days. could this be true??

and i know masturbation is a "stress reliever" and stress causes acne, but i still get acne either way...

is there a way to get rid of this pimple?? cuz on saturday i think i may be going out and i dont wanna show that i have a huge pimple on my face :(

Check out this link...It is actually up for debate, but most agree it does not. For the pimple, try a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol or something like Sea Breeze which is a mixture of alcohol, witch hazel and other astringents. I use it all the time, basically you need to try and dry up some of the oils on your face and i find this works great.

I think thats a myth. I do it almost daily and my acne has cleared up almost entirely in the past few months.

I am not sure, but i guess it varies from person to person.
But i'd doubt they are corelated.

Puberty does increase the acne due to hormone changes, but at the same time, it increases your urges; in short you get hornier during puberty, hence masturbating relatively often.

These 2 instances happening under the same superset does give an illusional effect that masturbating increases acne growth.
As these changes are existing on the same plane, but as 2 different entities, i'd would not concur that it promotes acne, much compared to doing it less would reduce acne either.

Its more important to keep your face clean and washing it often, to reduce acne infection.
But acne may not be puberty induced, at times its genetically induced as well.

Either way, acne would reduce as you leave puberty stage, while masturbation is subjective, although the urge reduces, but its always and will always be part of a male's life.

Mostly no, masturbation is not kind of acne cause. Your acne problems most likely is from teen hormonal system.

Keep your face clean, wash it either after doing activity and before you sleep, try to consume more fruits and vegetables as they are good for skin.

Or try some well known acne medication product such as accutane or proactive if acne start to bother you.

And the most important, keep relax dude, stay masturbate if you are get relax while do that :D

Well, I'm really not sure that its a set fact that if you jerk off, you get acne. But, assuming that your penis isn't necessarily the cleanest part of your body, if you go straight from jo to touching your face, you can get some gross stuff into your pores. That might cause some pimples
