Cant hang with GF because of father

I had a girlfriend that I really like but we go to different schools.. We've kissed and everything but we broke up because of going to different schools.. But getting to my point, I haven't got to see her because my dad still thinks im like 8. Im 13. How do I get him to realize that i'm a fricken teenager now and I want to hang with her..

Write a persuasive essay. With real points behind it, not "Well everyone' elses parents let them do it!" etc. Put some thought into it

maybe you should talk to her dad about it he is probably protecting his daughter by assuming you are younger

Haha well, he just.... is different like that... My mom dont have a problem with it, but my dad is just weird about it... Should I just like ask him if I can go to a movie with her and see what he says about it?

Yea ask if you can invite her to a hang out somewhere like the movies or bowling like the person above me said. It wouldnt be a date just two friends hanging out.

if my dad was like that, than i would just say i was going to hangout with some friends somewhere, not really mentioning the girl or lying about some people going. thats just what i would do, im not saying that you should do that at all

I feel you dude.. im 16 and my sorta gf..(having some problems) cant really hang out. her dad is f**king annoying.. not letting her go anywhere. and just awhile go he got mad becuase of her grades and she said she has her phone taking away, and she cant stay after school (only place we can hangout alone) till she has all A's.. Im breaking down inside.. idk what to do. i love her so damn much..and not being able to talk/text her is going to kill me.. cant even hangout with her.. :( :( :( Life sucks sometimes.
