View Full Version : No need to come out?

Lately, I've been accepting my sexuality privately. I've only really been noticing a few girls around my school these days. There's one girl in particular that I have a big crush on, but I hardly even speak with her. Plus, she isn't a lesbian, so doesn't matter anyway.

I don't feel a need to come out. I've never dated anyone before. Why would it even matter if people know my sexuality? No one really likes me around here, and I don't really want to date right now.

Also, my school is homophobic. I'm already miserable enough as it is, so I don't want to add bullying and criticism to my daily school life.

(NOTE: I'm pretty sure I'm bisexual, not a lesbian. But I MAY prefer girls. Not sure about that part yet. Or I could be Pansexual. I've been looking into that...)

((Ah, these always turn into long paragraphs. Sorry.))

hey bud. you dont owe then anything. i mean i'm not exaclty closeted but most dont know my sexuality... & guess what you dont owe an explination to anyone. your not comfertable telling? dont. Your life your choice..

it matters depending on how it makes you feel.. stop worrying about what others think or how they are.. there homophobic? great..they can get over it.
You prefer girls? you like this girl you mentioned? great :) im proud of you :) that awesome

It doesn't matter I everyone knows or not, you don't hear straight people having to say that they're straight.

You don't need to tell anyone if you don't want to, they may find out themselves, eventually. (:

I'm kind of at the same point as you, I think I'm Bisexual although its taken me a while to understand I guess?

But I don't think I'm ever just going to announce it for a start why should I? I mean straight girls don't announce their sexuality do they. I've only really told close (online) friends and one other girl who lives like long distance. I don't intend to tell anyone else until I need to.

Besides everyone gets with other girls at parties anyway, so :/

You don't have to tell anyone at all until you're ready, if that's never, well that doesn't matter. You just need to be comfortable in yourself and your identity.
