I translated this article from Dutch by myself, so there may be some grammatical errors/words that don't make very much sense.
The jailbreak for iOS5 is getting ready for release. Hackers have discovered 5 new bugs in the current version of Apple's mobile operating system.

The jailbraikers from the Chronic Dev Team seem to have found 5 exploits in iOS5 this weekend during a conference in London. With this, it should be possible to crack an iPod or iPhone out of Apple's grip directly after the release of iOS5.

Complete kraak
It all circulates around a so-called userland, "jailbreak", where the cracking is also possible without a connection with a PC. Afterwards, the jailbreak will remain even after a reboot of the iOS device. Tools such as JailBreakMe also work with userland exploits. The disadvantage is that this type of exploit is easily patched by Apple.

Where exactly the bugs were found is still kept a secret by the jailbreakers. They want to avoid avoid a quick patch by Apple before the actual release of iOS 5. The iPad creators have already brought out numerous test versions of iOS 5. The iPhone will follow the expectation of being the first device with iOS 5.
