ok i know i have been gay for awhile, but i havent actually told anyone about it. i think im going to tell my friends first because i think that will be easier but i dont know how to tell my parents. i think my mom would take it better than my dad but im catholic. homosexuality isnt really accepted in my community. does anyone have any advice to help. i really dont know what to say to them. could you also give me advice in telling my friends, especially one i kinda have feelings for.

your 41 years old. get a grip, you have one life to live, come out, and stop living in misery. you have to do it sooner or later, might as well be now. if you loose friends, you will always make more. just say, if they dont like me for who i am, then screw them. your parents should be fairly easy. you just have to keep telling yourself that they will love no matter what.

knight4thedark, Usualy after you tell your friends, they want to know if you like them. TGhe firend you have feelings for, just tell him. If they don't accept it, then they aren't good frinds, and you shouldn't hang out with them anyways. I haven't told my parents yet either. I don't know how my sister got the courage to come out, but I can't.
