How old, when, did you come out? And how did it turn out?

I came out on July 14th, 2010. When I was 12, I know young age! I was forcefully came out. Well that was when I came out to my family, i came out to my friends in like 5th grade lol. Anyways, I had like a video on my computer of two guys kissing, and my mom asked, and I just told her I was gay. She was crying, but now she's OK with it. But I'm glad I came out, it's such a huge relief. No more of worrying all the time. :yeah:

Well , i just came out to my friends recently. I can't even think of coming out to my parents rt now. I want to but I don't think they are going to take nearly as well as my friends. Forcefully or not, congrats on the fact that u did it.
My friends took it pretty well. I was very scared that they wouldn't and it actually surprised me on how well it went. check out my post on the details LOL

I didn't come out as gay (because I am asexual) however I told my friends and mom I am a furry to the end of last year. I was 13. My friends teased me about the stereotype which I made clear were wrong. My mom was skeptical of it and I haven't mentioned it since. However I am still planning on telling my dad who is a little more aggressive.

as the saying goes, i never really "came out" i didnt have to. i was that child who was obviously gay. i was never in the closet :P my family...well, long story short couldn't have care less and my brother loved it. i "came out" at 12 and iv had fun ever since :) xx

I was outed at like 13, then I told everyone else at around 14/15. It went well for the most part, haven't told my family yet but that's yet to come. I don't think I've had that bad of a reaction with everyone else though.

Right now, at 17, I'm in the process of coming out (as bisexual), I've told a few friends, my mom knows (which my dad most likely knows), and my best friend has known for about 2 years. It's all been fine no problems or anything. When I told my mom that I was bisexual she was are you sure it's not just one gender you are attractive to? (I guess she doesn't really think it's possible to have an attraction to both sexes, but I do have a stronger attraction to males rather than females. I didn't tell her that.) That was kinda awkward when she asked that. Idk if I'm going to tell everyone, like people on my hockey team because they probably will think I want all of their junks....

So yeah that's some what my story =P

I was 13. I havent come out to my family though just a few friends. I had a boyfriend once but whenever he was at my house or I was at his we just acted like best friends our parents had no idea we were dating haha.
