Friends or more?

So there's this guy I have a crush on. He's 13, I'm 14, and we are both homeschooled. My mom teaches two classes that we are both in at my house. He usually sits close to me, but then again the room isn't that big. It kinda seems like he's flirting with me or something- always trying to make me laugh, smiles a lot, passes me notes, etc.

My problem: the only time I see him is in class when my mom's around. I don't have much of any free time to hang out or anything. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Ask him if he ever wants to go to the mall etc, and hang out with you :)

Ask him for his number, if he gives it to you just arrange to do something at the weekend or after school or something. Even if he doesn't give it to you arrange something there and then, I'm sure you're given breaks and things during lessons?

Is there anything you do during your free time he could help with possibly? Idk you can merge the time doing that with seeing him or something.

So you can like consider him a friend and tell your mom you'd like to just chill after class sometime...

I couldn't imagine being homeschooled...but at the same time not actually have to "go" to school must rock.

Ask him to hang out sometime maybe on the weekends and get his number too like Aaron said. Im sure your mom wouldnt mind if you hang out now and then outside of class.

-_- yes I have friends. I would like to clear up the homeschooled-antisocial stereotype. Sure Im not with them 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but I do hang out with them.
