Checking your nuts

In sex ed last week, we were told that boys should check their nuts regularly.

How many boys actually do that? (I dont mean play with them either) :P

I do it. It's to check for any cancer or suspicious lumps in your balls. You just do it in the shower. Like lift when leg up on the edge of the shower and feel around on your balls and then lift up your other leg and feel the other side. It's best to do it in the shower because of the steam and everything makes it easier to feel I've heard. If you find any lumps on your balls you go to the doctor and they deal with it from there.

Remember lumps can be pretty hard to spot, so you should press harder than you might like to in order to make sure everything's OK. A little pain seems fair to avoid testicular cancer.

my doc showed me how and i check every week. pretty important as you go through puberty. tho my doc said once a month was probably enough

I have also read and heard that guys should but I really dont. I guess maybe I should ? Dont want any problems later that I didnt know about. Good advise guys!

i dont really make a conscious effort to check them.........but i fondle my nuts all the time when im at home so i know how they feel and would notice any changes in them

I think he means check them for any bumps that could mean you have testicular cancer. I don't really do that.

It is very important to do it. I do once in a while, but recently I have made a habbit of doing it once a week.
