Mp3...

I am freaking out right now...stupid mp3 is stuck at "Initializing...". It won't change. It was working fine moments ago. It's supposed to change to "Processing Building Database" or whatever but it's never getting there. usually it gets there after a few seconds. but it's completely stuck at "Initializing..."

The thing is, I had another mp3 and the exact thing happened to it. It suddenly turned off and it remained stuck at "Initializing...". I had to get a new one. now it's happening again. I don't want a new one, I have so many songs in my mp3...and I don't know if my mom will get me another one.....or if she can. what should I do??????? x_x I'm planning to go to the RCA website and get help

If the battery is removable then take it off and it may work and it should have s reset button somewhere in the machine

@Tenoramic: doesn't run on batteries. can be recharged by plugging it to the computer. AND as I said before, happened to my last mp3 (first one). and it happened to my little brother's.

I've realized that there's really nothing I could do, only get help from the company or whatever...but thanks both of you

Was the last one the same make and model as this one?

Going by the fact its happened twice to the same company model its probably a common fault. You'd be better off complaining to the company and going with a different brand. But yeah, contact the company and see if they've got a fix available.
