So I used to talk to this girl like 3-4 years ago, summer of '08 actually, never hung out outside of school but we texted like crazy. Little love notes here and there and whatever. Then things just kinda stopped towards the end of summer. Went back to school and haven't said a word to each other since despite having the same homeroom every single year. It's senior year now and she's actually in my 2nd period gym, actually health right now so we're in a classroom but whatever.
Then this past week, Sunday/Monday, I had two straight dreams about her and I reconciling and getting together. Ever since I've been thinking about her nonstop. Finally just added her on Facebook today. She ended up adding me and I shot her a message. Basically said it's been a while and asked her how she was. She said good and asked the same. I said good, told her about some things I'm doing then asked her about school. That was a few hours ago and I haven't heard anything since though I've seen her post since I sent the message which makes me wonder why she didn't respond.
But what I'm confused about is this, she posts asking who will marry her on Facebook. I guess it's just something people do since I've seen others who aren't in relationships do it as well. A few people like it and then her mom posts about her wanting to make a suggestion because she knows this person will eventually be her son in law so I was wondering who this could be that had such a close relationship with her.
Then later on it updates saying her and this guy were "married" and I didn't want to jump off the deep end, but I find that this guy didn't post on her wall post about the Facebook marriage thing and didn't even like the post so it's not like she randomly chose. I then look at this guy's page, he and I used to share a class last year and he's actually graduated, and they seem to be pretty close. Saying they miss each other and all this stuff with the little <3's. I was just hoping that they just had that kind of friendship, but then I started to think about it and thought that they may actually be dating. I'm not entirely sure but some of the comments on the post were people really excited about it and saying "finally" so I'm not sure if she's available anymore.
I try not to take Facebook too seriously and never really have, but I really want to be with her and now I don't know what to think. Does it sound like they're actually together or are they just close or what? I just need some thoughts from others. Thanks. Sorry if it was really long.
