More than friends?

I have a close friend that I think wants more than that. We have been close for years but I fond him trying to get even closer. Around more when im changing and even sneaking a look when I am. I havent said anything because I love the guy as a friend but I just want to know? how do I bring it up?

I had the same dilemma. I ended up being totally wrong and worrying over nothing. But, i just had a heart to heart chat with my friend and i brought it up by saying he was the best friend I ever could've had and waited for his response. He ended up saying that back to me, but then opened up about some girl he was head over heels for. He'd apparently been wanting to talk about it with me for a while, but hadn't gotten the chance. So all those vibes of him wanting to get "closer" to me were wrong, he just wanted to talk about something. So, if possible, try to have a heart to heart chat and see where that goes.

I actually don't think making it a joke is such a good idea, if he is genuinely interested in you and you don't feel the same way then making light of the situation is not the right thing to do at all. If anything then you need to just try and get him talking to you in a way that he feels comfortable and safe to say whatever he feels, how you do that is up to you.

if used both on 3 different people and it works fairly well
