I seen on some forums there is a button you can press on someone's reply like if it helped u. Now my point is people should get rep for every reply that helped. But it can only be pressed by the person started the thred.

There should also be something like a "like" button. :)

We have had this discussion ages back.

Basically it will cost Ant about $150 for the add on for vBulletin, so it will never happen

A like button is a useless feature that we will never need. We aint facebook

okay forget the like button.

did u even read what I had on top? I said there could be something where I could press under your post where it says was it useful or not and for both of you I would put not useful information. and thus this would minimally reduce ur rep

We have that. click the icon that is the set of scales (Next to the triangle with the '!' in it). A menu will pop up asking for whether you approve or disapprove. If you disapprove, you need to write a comment. This is called 'Rep'

Your reputation is displayed as "Rep power', with a set of boxes.

This answer your question?

In short, this thread is pointless as he assumed only the OP could rep despite the rep icon always being present.
