How can I tell if my friend is willing to experiment with me?

So I'm friends with this guy on my football team, we aren't like best friends but we will talk at practise and text occasionally. I have suspitions that hey might be a little curious too. Although I don't know how I can tell or sure, does any one know how I can? and also if he is curious how can I persuade him to experiment with me?
I really want to experiment with him (or experiment period) so any suggestions would be good!

Maybe you could start out by hanging out with him a bit more...and building up your friendship...

like said above build your friendship. invite him round ur house.. go around his. see what happens

Spending "alone" time is a great way to start...Start hanging out more and get to know him...still it may be hard to figure it out, but at least you will know him better and be able to get a n better assessment of his like and dislikes
