So there's this boy named Carlos. Carlos and I were introduced through a mutual friend. We hit it off. We would text each other until one passes out from exhaustion and flirt soooo much. We started hanging out without the mutual friend we met through and it was great. I really thought that I was going to get my first boyfriend. I brought dating up to him and he said that he thought we were just friends. That was Earth-shattering in and of itself, but this asshole has the audacity. The fucking audacity to suggest being friends with benefits. I'm sorry, but what? Excuse me?

I'm sorry bro! I like that you have standards, and morals to who you date and what you date. Maybe just wait for a little and see where it goes! That's what I would do, but I would tell him how I really feel; how mad you are. If he can accept how mad you are about what he did, he'll have a better understanding of who you are as a person though, which will most likely allow for a potential furthering of the relationship. I know you didn't ask for advice, but I just wanted to throw my opinion out there. :D
