Sothings wrong with facebook please help

Ok so im normaly good with a cpu but this ones got me so can you please help. Ok so about a 3 days ago there was a huge flood, and so we shut down modems and computers everytime theres a thunder storm. So a few days later I hooked up everything. Everything worked ecept facebook. Its does'nt show any pictures, all the words are to the left of the screen thats all that shows up. Ive asked my freinds and they said that it worked for them. So i'm thinking its the modem. but cant figure how to fix it. please help

I may sound like a retard for saying this, but did you accidentally block images from facebook? Have you tried using a different browser? Have you cleared the cookies specifically for facebook, logged out and logged back in? It ain't your modem hun. :P just sayin.

Well i guess it could be the blocking pictures from facebook. Well i know its not the web browser becuse ive tryed it. But when i got on face book during this storm it worked fine, so then i unpluged everything agian. but the next day it did'nt work. sooo yeah idk any other thoughts?

Is anything from your firewall settings set to block?

Clear your cookies. Ctrl+Shift+delete.


If this doesn't work, try downloading another web browser, such as google chrome and test if this happens on that web browser as well. Let me know how it goes.
