The new girl

This girl lives in my neighborhood, and I assume she's new considering I've never seen her before, and she's a junior, like me. But the problem here is everyday she is listening to her iPhone on the bus, in the morning and in the afternoon. And the only time I could get the chance to talk to her is in the morning when we're getting off, but the problem is I don't know exactly how to start talking to her. I feel like: "hey, are you new here?" would be good, but I'm not entirely sure. I also look at her because her face is fucking phenomenal, and I can't help but look, and I honestly believe she knows I do this since it seems as though she's caught me since I haven't always been so subtle about the way I look her, so I don't really want to come off as creepy by talking to her.

So, should I roll with "hey, are you new here?" or should I not? And if not, what should I say? I'm not the most outgoing person when it comes to new people, especially if they're girls, and I'm attracted to them and want to get to know them and whatnot.

How about sit with her on the bus and ask if the seat in taken? Etc. I think you should go for it

An easy one to start a conversation is to ask her what she's listening to. If it's music you've heard of or like, you can follow it up with something like "oh yeah, they're good" kind of thing or if you haven't heard it, you can ask to "find out more about the band/singer/etc" but really you just started a conversation with someone you want to get to know.

Or maybe I'm just crazy, but you could try those things. :D

ya sit with her on the bus just go with the "hey im *your name* nice to meet you" see where it goes from there dont stick with the super safe subjects but dont choose the super weird ones either

I would sit with her, but when we both get on the bus there's a bunch of open seats, so I don't really want to do that because I feel like I'm going to creep her out and stuff.

Then maybe try to sit in the seat next to her, or maybe behind her (on the other side of the bus, so you wouldn't be breathing down her neck when you start to chat ;) ) and then start a conversation, and if it turns into a good one, try to get in the seat next to her or with her if it's taken. That could work.
