Life is spontaneous, and therefore, you must be too. You shouldn't ever assume that everything "is set" the way you want it, because there's a 99% chance things will go to fucking hell and you'll end up back at the hypothetical drawing board for the millionth time.

To survive life, you have to anticipate failure. It's kind of like building something in Minecraft. You build something, but eventually, it will damaged and destroyed one way or another. Instead of moping about it, you just continue and build it better.
