I started freshman year in a new school a week ago. I thought I would be fine because everyone is new and wants to make friends too. I'm very outgoing and friendly so I thought making friends would be breeze. But almost everyone in my high school went to the same middle school together and I feel like no one wants to be my friend cuz they have their own group already :( Can anyone offer some advice?

I had that problem because i switched school districts. I just talked to as many people as i could, and over time i ended up with a group of friends that i like. Not everyone ended up being my friend... just a small group. So i would say,, just talk to random people. Eventually you'll have your own group.

I transfered over to a new school where a lot of the kids had known each other since pre-school. I thought it was going to be a horrible year, but everyone excepted me right away. I think it was a one of a kind experience though...
