Starting a new high school.....

Ok this is my 1st year of high school and I'm in a new school so I know noooooo one.... Today was my first day and it felt like every one was looking at me cuz I'm the "new kid". Everyone was asking if I was a joinor or senior cuz I'm so tall and I was flipping cuz I felt like people thought I was weird or I looked funny or something ....idk but I have to go through it all over agian! How am I gonna make it through it??? All I know is I'm still flipping out!!!!! Help!!!!!!! What do I do??? :/

well your a freshman and well upper class look down on them and make fun of them i dont really know why though because we were all freshman at some point.
just meet some people and make friends. sooner it will get easier when you have people to talk with

Relax. High school is a very easy way to make new friends. I encourage you to join any clubs that interest you. Be among people who share a common interest. It worked for me with band.

ya thats what i forgot. by joining you find other people with the same interest and then its easier to find friends

You're new, you're bound to be feeling on edge. Its a new place, new people, new surroundings. Freaking out or panicking won't help you its better to look at it with a straight head. High school is something everyone has to go through. It will be difficult at first but its a routine you'll get used to after a while.

Man that has to suck. Well I'm a freshman but its the same district so i know people, and the upper classmen don't really mess with us. I'd just try to avoid them if i were you. Also try not to be antisocial, try to make as many friends as possible.

I was in the exact situation last year! I just opened up and talked to people. I was so insecure for the first month until I started talking to people.

im sure there are plenty of people that would like to be your friend but if nobody makes the first step of sayin hi or tryin to get to know eachother it wont happen so maybe just try n start small conversation with someone you share a class or 2 with see where it leads, they might be as intimidated of you as you are them cuz your the new girl. n if you make 1 friend that has 3 other friends im sure your new friend will introduce you to their group of friends n there you have just made 4 friends by sayin hi to 1 person give it a shot it cant hurt anythin but either way good luck :)
