hi everyone

i am new here and i know i dont know all the rules and stuff yet but i have a question about messages if thats ok. i know i cant send any pm's until i make 100 posts and ill never get to 100 but people here send me messages and when i hit read message and then try to write back to them an error box always pops up but it never says what i did wrong? why cant i answer peoples messages?

i hope i made this in the right place.

you answered your own question. You can't send PMs till you reach 100 posts. Neither can you reply. The only people you can PM are staff members at the moment

don't worry, in time you'll get to 100 posts.

100 posts is NOT hard. You're already over 1/4 of the way. Just post.

Or you could have a staff member relay them, but that's not the best way of doing things ;)
But yeah, can't send PMs until you have 100 posts. This prevents cammers from abusing site features.

If it's that important they will contact you through VM.

Using the VM would be the best option you have for effective peer to peer communication, as far as VT and your number of post status is concern.
100 post is not a toughie, but that does not recon a spam of "ok", "I agree" or "nice"
To follow through the next 70 threads you see.

Although that works, but it's always quality over quantity.

Do you mean Visitor Message or Private Message? If it's private, you can't reply... But you can post a Visitor Message (VM) in their profile. If It's a VM. Then when you click the "View Conversation" Button and reply back, You may get that "An error Has Occurred" Message. It happens to me too, but the message get's posted. Just go to the person's profile and check it's there :)

You pretty much answered your own question there. 100 posts is really easy to get. Come on, I joined a couple months ago and look at my post count. I have no life. Jokes. I just love VT.

You could just leave a comment in their visitor messages. You'll have to wait for a mod to read it but hey, better than nothin' :)
