SATs

Is december 3 earlier enough for me to take SATs and still have the results in time for college, or no?
It's the only fall test date offered at my school

I don't think that's enough time. You need to send in your college application pretty early, and it takes about a month to get your scores in. You can still register now for the SAT in October, which might give you enough time.

There might be colleges that will take what you have and when your SAT scores come in, will add that as well. I'm really not familiar with the way colleges work so I don't know for certain :/.

The earliest one is like oct 1, but the testing center is my issue. I lack a car and my mother is no help with taking me places.

I'll probably just have to take the oct 22 ACT if this one's too late

I think that's fine. The only scores you need are your GPA and one from the ACT or SAT. As long as you've taken it once, you're pretty much all set. When you take it again your scores are generally barely higher than the first time, so taking the test again isn't that important. Unless you have the time or want to get into a college that requires higher scores, there's no real point in retaking it.

The "barely" is worth it to me, I'm only in the 78th% where my gpa puts me in the top 9% (91st%) (i forget what the score was, 26-27), and I'd love to get it in the 80s.
It IS important when it's the difference between getting in barely and getting in with money coming my way.
My ACT doesnt match my GPA, and my SAT probably won't, but it's worth taking it at least once just in case I somehow do really well.

But that's not what I asked, is december too late for the SAT
