I usually photograph objects, so I was wondering what you people thought of my photographs of people, to see if I should pursue this direction.

I love the first one and third one!
The last one is a little grainy and blurry though.

We were in a tunnel, it was dark and I snapped a grainy unclear photo, but there's something powerful about the combination of the tone of the photo and the lighting/clarity. Idk. Maybe it's just me.

I love how there were crowds of people rushing around this old man, who was completely still.

I like the one with the sun. The one of the teen sitting on the curb really puts a spin on my emotions, not sure what it is yet, but I like that one too.

what kind of camera do you have?

Most were taken with my Nikon Coolpix S4000. Two were taken with my cellphone (LG Chocolate Touch).

The first, the third and the one of the old guy are my favourites :)

It's a shame that the one of the man is blurred but I'm guessing there wasn't that much light in the station.

Lol the blurriness was kind of the point. I liked the idea that the whole world is blurry, and rushing around, and this one guy is un-blurry and still. I have to work on my technique. :)

You have potential, that's for sure.

The only one that I really would've left out was the last picture out of the first bunch, only because the shot seemed to be too close (for my liking).
It turned my focus to the fountain, rather than the person, who (i assume) is the intended subject.
