I have to admit, this is one of my favourite ending scenes ever. Spoiler for any of you that god forbid haven't seen this. It's also a shame that they had to spoil this shit with sequels.

all effects done on gareth edwards' (the director) laptop. I love this scene. It's beautiful. There's also a shot there that lasts about 10 seconds that reveals the entire fate of the two characters - it's sad that most viewers didn't pick it up. That's what I love about the film - its subtlety. Its soundtrack, made by Jon Hopkins, is very good too.
There are more, but they're lingering at the back of my head and I can't pull them out.

In Black Swan whenever there's a dsncing scene.
Children of Men when they are walking with the baby and all the soldiers stop fighting to look.
Candyman, when she wakes up and there's blood everywhere and the dogs head is on the floor.
Prince of Darkness, at the end when the guy is about to touch his mirror and the movie ends. (Its supposed to make you wonder if he went through it into the other world or not).
Oh, and Gattaca, the end scene where he's going up into space. And the last quote of the film is the quote in my signature.

Ooh!
Once Were Warriors when she hangs herself, and The Shawshank Redemption when Morgan Freeman talks about whether or not he's rehabilitated and about how little of a shit he gives.
And Precious when she's taking about how love didn't do anything for her. Made me tear up, I don't know about you guys.
And in Boys Don't Cry when she was raped, and talked about it

To be fair, Morgan Freeman can just stand there and be epic. Dude is awesome.
I didn't cry during Precious, but that scene was powerful. Plus, the acting from Precious and her mom was fucking incredible (especially at the end).

No. Just No. Sure its a great speech but I feel its overrated in how amazing it is. I mean you're completely ignoring Elizabeth Swann's speech at the end of At Worlds End (Hoist the Colors), Aragorns speech at the Black Gate, and the Presidents Speech in Independence Day. I like all 3 of them better. Oh and Maximus's I will have vengeance speech in Gladiator.
On topic of PotC:

Elizabeth Swann's speech was quite bad, actually. And on the topic of PotC, that isn't nearly one of the best scenes of the franchise.
Anyway:

From Le Diner De Cons, I don't think there's an English subtitled version of this scene on youtube but it was absolutely hilarious.

Minerva is the best character in Harry Potter in general. I love her <3. However, I think the best scene in HP:TDH2 has to go to Snape:
((Couldnt find a good video so here's the scene in the books))
"I have spied for you and lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you. Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter's son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter -- "
"But this is touching, Severus," said Dumbledore seriously. "Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?"
"For him?" shouted Snape. "Expecto Patronum!"
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe. She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
"After all this time?"
"Always" said Snape.
