So I was riding to school and I came around a corner and some how my back wheel went sideways and next thing I was sliding on the road for about 7 meters and then my head hit a car on the side of the road (I only remember 4 stages of this accident) I was ripped to pieces and still am. I have missed 1 and a half days off school I can only walk a few kms (miles) till I can't walk any more. Anyway my question is have u ever had anything like this before to u? And the other question is why can't i remember what fully happened? Is it a way that my body tries to protect myself?.
Reply is very much appreciated.

If you can't fully remember your accident, that doesn't sound too good. You might want to see a doctor or something.
But yeah, I've been in a few bike accidents before, but I like, never got hit by a car or anything. I have two I can remember right now:
1. I was riding to school, and my pants got stuck in the chain, and I fell over. I scraped my elbow and knees up a bit, but I carried myself to school.
2. I bumped into my little brother's bike while riding on mine, and I fell face forward over my bike and scraped my face and upper body quite a bit.
But those happened when I was like, 10 and 11. I don't ride a bike anymore because I don't have one.
I hope do feel better soon! :D

One day I was cycling in the Boyscouts, downhill and then I went against a friend and I flew from the bike and slide like a meter sideways. I could bread for a few seconds and I got with my right arm all scratch and with a big wound in the elbow.

I broke my collarbone on my bike after an easy 30 miler.
i biked home, went to bed, and went to the doctors the next day.
I didnt know i had broke my bone, and thought it was just a pulled muscle and i tried to HTFU, and got home.

the one time i badly crashed my bike, i was on vacation and biking on a boardwalk. I might have gashed my forehead on a loose nail in the boardwalk, but the person i crashed into was the most amazing person ive ever met. Pretty easy to remember that crash, huh? and with your inability to remember, see a doc about it.

I had a major incident last year whilst competing in a downhill mountain biking event. I misjudged a corner and hit it too fast, and went off a 52 metre cliff still clipped into my bike. The bike took most of the impact, but I had two broken ribs, a concussion and I had shattered my hip. I now have titanium pins in my hip and have since quit doing the sport for competition, I only do it as a personaly hobby now. I have no recollection of the landing, all I remember is leaving the cliff, and waking up with a marshal unclipping me from the bike (at the time he didn't know of my hip), before I blacked out again.
Whilst I remember very little, I was still traumatized by the event and have since been back to the track, have inspected the bike and I have ridden the track again.
So I do believe that not remembering an accident is not your brains way of protecting you, because I was messed up after mine, my brain did no protecting what-so-ever. I believe it is due to the fact that with so much going on in your head, whats happening, what went wrong, what am I going to hit, where am I, is this going to hurt etc, your brain is overloaded trying to find out what is going to happen, and you therefore don't take anything in.
I had to go back to the track to find out what happened. There my brain was able to remember a few things. After I realised I was going to fast, I hit the brakes and locked up. With locked up wheels I had no control and wasn't losing much momentum, and subsequently rode off the drop. The main thing I remember though, is confusion. And that is the best I can answer :)

If you haven't already, I suggest going to the docs office. You could have a concussion from hitting your head. Concussions can be bad based on how hard of an impact you receive on the head.
Anyway, I've been hit by a car 3 times. None were very bad. All were on bikes too lol.

Thanks for the replys. Now im aright i still can't remember what happened but i got huge scares one my arms, hand, hip and leg (big gash from another fall at the servo) but that was one of the scaryest ones that ever happend to me. now iam a hell of alot careful about riding on the streets. The fastest crash i was in was at 60-70km/h on my old ktm 80cc 2stroke, BUT the fastest ive been on a motorcycle (dads harley 1600cc custom tourer) at 180-190km/h (STREET/BUSH ROAD) and drifting on it on dirt road at 45km/h. btw dads bike is 450kg.

Excuse me, I know I'm years too late here.. but when my 1948 Columbia bike crashed, the huge steel frame actually saved me. The truck hit the rear buffer and fender, shoving me up to around 40 MPH or so, then it bent in, the frame wrenched sideways, I was tossed off when the truck hit me again.. I landed in a flower bead, hard, but okay. I've luckily never been in a bad bike accident.. as for my tractor wreck.. that didn't go as well. How did it go over?
