Are you seeing a therapist or a councillor or someone?
Wanting to stop is the first step, it's good motivation. Think of all the reasons why you want to stop. Use those reasons to help you through urges, use the non self harm calendar if you want. Set yourself targets. You can also use distractions, find another way of coping. Good luck :)

First, it's really good that you want to stop cutting. That's a great step in quitting :)
You probably already know how tough recovering from self-harm can be. I've been self-injuring for about 3 years, and haven't managed to quit despite some of the times I've tried.
Have you tried any distraction methods for when you want to cut? Maybe finding something to replace it could help a bit. For me, things like listening to music, going for a walk, or reading can be helpful. Sometimes I draw/write on myself (typically with a red marker or pen), and I find that it can calm me down enough that I don't feel as strong of an urge to hurt myself. So maybe there's something you enjoy doing that you can resort to when you want to cut. I've also heard snapping a rubber band against your wrist, or holding an ice cube to your skin can help. With the rubber band, though, you don't want it to break through the skin. Otherwise, both create pain, without doing so much damage.
Is there someone you could talk to? Or someone who can support you while you're trying to quit? It might be helpful if you have someone to go to when you get urges. Could be someone to talk it out with, or even to just have a casual conversation as a sort of distraction. Sometimes I find that just sitting in a room with people is helpful, so I'm not as tempted to get up and cut. Maybe there's something like that which could work out for you.
I hope you're doing alright. Feel free to leave a message if there's anything you want to talk about. Good luck, and best wishes while you're trying to stop cutting :)

Seeing someone would be the best option. Then you would need a fair bit of distraction so when you think of cutting you have something to distract you with. Maybe getting a GF/BF (Whichever floats your boat) if you do not have one as they are always supportive and will always be there for you no matter what.
I wish you the best of luck and hope you do end up stopping. I know it's hard but not cutting makes your body better. Right now it may seem like it helps but it really is ruining you and your body.
Again, good luck. If you want to talk send me a PM or a VM any time :)
