Any help getting through my first date?

I am planning to take this girl out this weekend and geting to know her better. She added me on facebook, goes to a different highschool, and she started talking to me first. I got her # and we started texting and as of right now she is my friend. I was talking to my girl bff and she is saying this girl is into me, cuz i didnt seem needy and she texted me first on some occasions. sometimes she puts <3 when we say goodnight which i think is a plus. So this saturday im planning on taking her out to eat for dinner so we can get to know each other even better and see each other for the very first time. Im pretty confident that this going to happen, but i just dont know what to do/say to her. Any advice on getting through with my first date and making it successful?
How was your first date with someone you wanted a relationship with? Did it end in a goodnight kiss/hug or worse?

p.s. im planning on telling her, "you didnt tell me you were this pretty in person :)" when i first see her. is this a good move??

awesome move. and just be confident on the date. Dont get all chocked up. Keep talking and listen to what she has to say. Be considerate and kind. Always a plus.

My birthday is on September 11, and saturday is September 10. and if birthdays are mentioned, i was thinking of telling her "You being here with me is the best present you couldve gotten me :)"

great moves. and just try to stay relaxed. make jokes and be funny and not to serious. listen to what she is saying and respond with inthusiasm and be interested in wat she is saying
