No, unless you are actually hilarious/michael mcintyre/lee evans
do not attempt pick up lines, you have to be seriously funny to pull them off and look cute-otherwise you come off as just cheesy and insincere.
Plus they don't really make the girl feel special because its a 'one size fits all' kinda thing, no thought goes into them you just recite them. Whereas if you say something like 'you're a really cute sort of pretty' 'you look great tonight'
it just comes off a lot better :)

Depends really, i find the fact that they have the confidence to come up to me at all nice and adorable that they resort to a pick up line to start a convo instead of STARING like alot of other guys like to do and never talk just admire...from afar. It really does, if you know the person then itd be easier to see what would work and what wouldnt. Pick up lines are cheesy but im one of those few who likes cheesy and stuff like that, cuz its adorable.
