I threw away my razor last time I cut because I felt instantly guilty for it. Well, I regret that now. Any bad thing that happens to me spurs the urge to cut... Most of the time, I don't act on it, but its comforting to know that the razor is there if I need it.
Now, I'm freaking out because I can't find a new one. I've been searching the house for a new one, or a substitute, and I'm starting to look a little suspicous to the rest of my family.
Distraction ideas? Or helpful tips? Anything to help me? Because I'm like literally freaking out here.

I usually call my best friend when I'm feeling the urge to cut. That way I'm distracted and I can talk my problem out. Other times I'll color or walk in the woods. Drawing on myself with a red marker or pen works sometimes too.

I do this too sometimes, I managed to find one the other day. Held it for a while, and then decided not to cut and gave it to my parents. The best thing to do is stop yourself looking for an 'implement' you'll drive yourself crazy that way
try taking your mind off the urge, I always ring a friend
stay strong hun- you can beat this

i threw mine away in the back feild of my school 3 days ago. I've found other things, but it's not the same.
the distactions I have are writing out my feelings and ripping them up, or talking to my best friend. I listen to alot of non triggering music.
Stay Strong :)
xx
PS: I have experience with this...if you need someone to talk to, I'm here okay?

None of my friends know about my cutting. I just started it again last week, and I don't have the guts to tell anyone. Although I could try the taking a walk idea.

I found one the other day, too. I used it, "to see if it would work." Really, I think I just wanted to cut, but that's the excuse I kept telling myself.

The friend I talk to doesn't know about my cutting. She just knows that I get depressed and is willing to listen to me and help me talk things out.

Sometimes I do that to,I totally get how u feel. Go cuddle up with a fam member, watch a fav movie,go chill with friends, draw, sketch,go for a long walk to clear ur head, take a bubble bath, make a smoothie ( Or a fav food) Invite people over. Call someone. And if ur still have the urge when the conversation is over, call people until its gone. Listen to music to calm ur mood. Believe that ur strong enough to fight the addiction. Because u can. Keep ur head up. It does get easier to resist.
