well i will just get right to the point. i am overweight , 5'10" 217 pounds and i want to get to around 160-170 lbs and i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how i could do this? I am starting to eat healthier and excercising more but not really making much of a difference. any ideas? and i know this doesnt have a ton to do with puberty...

you should not expect immediate results if you have only recently started exercising and eating healthier. if you are worried about it, maybe you should diet? but you should see a doctor first to point you in the right diection as far as dieting goes. hope this helps.

dont expect immediate results i've bin eating healthier and excercising for over a month and i dont have a lot of results but my mom tells me i look good but i dont beleve her. but my ? is what are you doing to excercising becase some times it might affect where your useing the musles to burn fat. have you gone to a specalist they problely helpo you. hoped that helps with you try ining to lose weight. ^.^'

umm just keep working out
make sure you run around your block a couple times and day and you should see huge results in at the most maybe 6 months

The first thing you should do is stop drinking sodas and any kind of junk food that you know isn't good for you. That alone without doing anything else can get a some weight off. Then start walking daily for about 45 minutes to an hour. Being committed to that can get a good amount of weight off already. As you're more comfortable you can do more rigorous workouts like running/sprinting.
You should then start eating better and adding fruits and vegitables to your diet. Avoid lots of breads and eat wheat only. Make sure you eat 3 meals a day otherwise your metabolism will get knocked out of whack.
More importantly you need patience. Losing weight is going to take time but you need the motivation to do it. You have to want it badly to be skinner. It's not going to happen overnight. Starving yourself will only cause you to gain weight in the end so don't even try it.

also dont eat 3 hours before you go to bed bcuz your body digests food when you are active and when you are sleeping you are not active therefore the food has no where to go and you get bigger

That's not true. It's more of a myth. It's what you eat before you go to bed that matters. If it's healthy food you'll be fine. If you eat a huge slice a pizza then it's a different story.
