There is a thread here called the Butterfly Project. i'm sure everyone knows what it is. The first day of school(yesterday) I drew a butterfly in pen on the back of my hand. I killed it today.

I reopened one of my deeper cuts with a pen cap and dug into it. I did it so casually in school. It didn't bleed as much as the first time i cut it and the second time but it was enough for my. I looked at the blood. I was thrilled and eased. I haven't cut in a week and I couldn't take it.

Anyway, has anyone esle killed a butterfly? How many and why.

One...I started the project, but when I killed it, I broke down and cried. I'm a sensitive person.
It'll get better, I promise :)

I haven't tried the butterfly project..in all honesty why i havent tried it is because im so scared of killing one..id feel even worse than if i didnt do the butterfly...sucks

Not to mention, my parents forbid me as a kid to draw on my skin so I'm always afraid to do so in case my mother sees and tells me off about it. >_> But that's my own stupid, personal reason.

Yea,I was so pissed at myself to. I thought,hell,if i name my butterfly after my little niece i wont relapse. But...Clearly my addiction has more of a hold on me then I thought. Idunno if I wouldve been fine if I didnt break down because of my mother screaming at me or not,but it doesnt change what I did...Hopefully next time will be better : /

I have the same problem. I'd have to wash it off if my parents saw, and i;m always too afraid to kill my best friend's butterfly
