Just ones that I've made... felt like showing them off. I'm rather useless with GIMP and Photoshop so I like being able to at least make text signatures.

I tend to make new ones when I'm bored, haha. My last one didn't hang around for long 'cause I felt like making something Portal themed.

Ha, I still need to learn to use GIMP before I even attempt image sigs. I used to have Photoshop CS on my old eMac (yes, old program, old computer) that I knew how to use well but since I got my new laptop, I've not been able to use Photoshop. GIMP is similar, yes, but I've found that the interface confuses me.

Text: Whatever you think would look good with the sub-text. Anything goes.
Color: Dark purple, dark green, gray, and maybe some blue. Just a bit.

Crooked, I had two ideas but one turned out much nicer than the other so I'll post that one:

Tried to work with those colours and hopefully they show up well enough on whichever layout you use. If there's anything you want changed, let me know. :)

EDIT: I've noticed on the main Forever Blue theme, the purple drop shadow looks a bit blue so let me know and I can edit that if that's the theme you use.

Noticed it's coming up with a white background so I checked the image size. GIMP altered it on me. >_>

Try this one. GIMP wouldn't let me resize it properly so I remade it and tried to match the colours correctly. :)

Hmm. It should be working. I'll play with it on mine for a bit. Don't mind me, I'm new at this. :P Sorry 'bout this.

EDIT: Figured it out. The drop-shadow was making the file size too big for the VT limit. So I cut that out and tried to do something similar that still kept the file size small enough. And I tested it so I know this one works. :P

To create a mock drop shadow just duplicate the text layer, adjust the color accordingly and then move it about 5 pixels to the right and 2-3 pixels down. Then lower the opacity.

That's basically what I ended up doing, more or less. The only thing missing would be the blur on the edge of the drop shadow but that's not so bad. Thanks. ^_^

Make a selection of the layer. Contract the selection (Photoshop has the option, GIMP you may have to use Transform somehow) then add a feather of 3px - 5px on the selection and then hit delete a few times. This will add the fade fairly accurately.

I'll play around with that a couple times and see if I can't figure it out. Learning as I go. :P
