These aren't by chance taken in New York City, are they?

Also, they're excellent. The focus could use some improvement and a couple could do to be straightened in an editing program but overall, I like them. :)

Yeah :) some were taken in Central Park, where I wandered around on Tuesday. The rest were taken in my neighborhood, in Brooklyn.

Thank you! I suck at editing; I don't do much more than play around with contrast and shadows. I was thinking of straightening two of the photos, but decided I liked them crooked. :D

I recognized Central Park from when I was there... two years ago, I think.

They really are lovely, especially the spider web. I usually play with exposure, colour, shadows, highlighting and contrast. My photos tend to look totally different than when I take them. Haha.

@Nathuagyn-I always feel bad if I edit too much, I'm afraid that it takes away a bit from the photograph... -sigh- there's such a fine line between just the right amount, and too much, editing, I think.

I'll answer this seriously though, as if you actually cared about what I have to say:

Right now, as a beginner photographer, I'm focusing more on technique, and trying to gain experience, before I go out and take photos different, more original subjects. When I title my thread "YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS SHIT BEFORE IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!11!!" and you see flowers (without a twist on them), then you can come and say this.
