So my Tmobile G2x is on it's way in the mail, and I've had several people tell my I should get a Anti-Virus for this. I've had a Blackberry and a number of plain phone, never have I heard of using an Anti-Virus on a phone. Is it really needed?

It's not really needed. Just don't get in the habit of downloading unidentified or untrusted downloads, and you'll be good. (Or watching that crazy Chinese porn :P )

At this time the "Antivirus" applications they have protect very little. Many of them are completely useless. Try reading application reviews before hand or using a third party appstore that tests all applications first (Such as Amazon's app store)

Most of the apps I download are from Android Market(uses friends phones) and are free, so yeah...

I'll start doing that. I've never been one to read the reviews on something. xD
