Eating in the car?

Okay this is a big dilemma for me... I am getting a new car that's going to run like $35,000. I really don't want to seem like an ass and not let people eat inside, however if someone spilled their milkshake and it fried something inside my car I would be PISSED.

Question is... Do you, or are you going to let people eat inside your car?

I think it's your car, then, it's your decision. If you don't want people eating in your car, then tell them not too. Plus, most of the time, these don't eat in cars things only last a few months and then people stop caring about it.

Never been able to eat in my parents cars, never will let people eat in the car. Only water is allowed.
Your car isn't a restaurant, if people can't respect that then they aren't good friends.

I don't care if people eat in my car. Why? Because its worth like $2k, and if they make a mess, they get to clean it up.

Nope, no food. The only drinks I allow are ones with a screw-on cap.

lol well it depends on the person. I won't let any little kids like my lil nephew eat in my car but most people I will. Plus my car is a mess :( Kinda makes me sad but its a junkyard. But umm, spilling a milkshake in your car isn't going to fry it lol. But its your car, your rules. Just like I won't let anyone smoke in my car. Thats my rule lol. And people respect it :)

Personally, i would be picky about what i let people eat in my car (when i get one) if its something not crumbly.. then i see no problem with it. If they make a mess, they can clean it up :)

I'd be a hypocrite if I told people not to eat/drink in my car.
But the general rule is, if you spill something, you get to clean the ENTIRE car. :P
