You may nor may not have seen but on Yahoo answers Hilliary Clinton asked this question recently on there.

How can we as a country promote alternative energy, use less foreign oil and reduce global warming?

I have a plan to set up a Strategic Energy Fund using excess oil company profits to invest in alternative energy.
What do you think about her plan? It seems a bit socialistic to me.

Excess oil company profits? If that means the price of gas is going to sky rocket if she goes through with this, then I'm completely against it, because global warming is a natural process, and humans are cause for under 1% of it. If gas prices will stay the same, then I say: Hell, why not? Might as well, if all we're doing is bettering the environment, and no one really suffers economically then I think they should go through with it. I'm fine with it, as long as it doesn't fuck up gas prices any more than they're already f-ed up.

The entire world should use as much alternative, cleaner, safer energy as possible
