Messy situation

I like this guy, a lot, I honestly aint liked someone as much, and I know he likes me but he still damaged his last guy and still abit hung up and on the guys hook, but also in four weeks I'm off to Uni and will be living 100 miles away and I dint know what to do, do I try to go out with him or forget about him?
But cutting him out isn't really an option we are really good friends and we do this group thing together, alll really messy just need some thoughts on what to do.

i agree with prime, talk to him and see what he thinks he might be cool with it, but for a healthy relationship you probably need to see each other often, wich might be a problem :D
