i was just wondering, if u ejaculate and it's out of masturbation or something isn't it murder since each sperm cell carries life?

Your body reproduces so much of it, it doesn't matter that you are killing it. Not that most people care, considering, it's not a human.

well yes it is alive, but by that sense we should feel guilty for losing skin and blood cells too. but if you mean we should feel guilty because they have the potentional to create life, i wouldnt. sperm cells only live for a short time and our body constantly replace them.
sperm cells dont even have a full set of chromosomes anyway. irrelevent but what ever.

Sperm cells get replaced by your body, be it through metabolism or ejaculation. In a way of looking at it, our body kills it even if we ejaculate.
Technically you are right to say that we are killing, but rationally its in equivalence to the amount of cells dying from day to day activities.
I'm not inferring that there should not be guilt, but it's part of a natural process, cell die and are replaced. Biology 101
Theres no need to brood over the work nature has preinstalled.

your skin cells are living things technically... but every time you wash your hands your washing them off to. dont worry
Yep, every day thousands of your cells that are "alive" die. dont be one of them religous nuts who thinks all cell life is a human life.

It depends on what religion you subscribe to. As I do not "believe" then it is not "killing sperm"

dude you produce MILLIONS of sperm every day, some are not viable some are working cells. You also shed millions of skin cells, and every time you scratch yourself you kill more. Sperm is continually produced. It is not life, it's a part of you, developed from your own cells. Sperm cells are not conscious. They are robots built biologically to seek out egg cells.

just remember, even during sex, typically only 1 sperm enters the woman's egg, so is every other sperm that doesn't get to the egg first also murder?

No its not. There is life in almost every fluid we have. If becomes life when it meets up with a girl and she gets pregnant untill then its just messy.

No, it may be a living cell, but it isn't an animal or human.

Plus, you ejaculate (I believe) 2-3 million sperm everytime you masturbate. So, if it was bad, I would be charged with like 500 million counts of murder. Lol

first, let's look back into history of the Puritans (that's what i'm studying in school right now). The Puritans were a very religious, very plain and simple society. they believed in marital sex, and if they did have sex, it would strictly be for reproduction. nothing else, not even fun or just to release the "urge". I don't know if they thought that if they masturbated they would be killing a child they could've had, but masturbation is strictly prohibited in the Puritan community. I have to agree with the rest, it does have life but it isn't a fully developed human and it is just like red blood cells or skin cells.

You lose cells by some of the stuff you eat. Are you going to feel guilty because you eat? ...

Dude, technically about every couple months ALL of your cells die and are replaced, sperm is hardly a difference plus you never stop making it.

Your not killing anything since it is not mixed with an egg to join for conception. Sperm does not live once it it exposed to air. It technically doesn't carry life..just the DNA for 1/2 the product that ultimately produces life.

no because although it is a living cell, it can only make new life through intercourse if it meets up with the female egg

I don't think we should be guilty for shooting out sperm when we jack off. It's not really alive until it joins w/ a gal's egg so it's nothing to worry about :)

No, don't feel guilty. You're not killing anyone and I think fresh sperm (made after an ejaculation) is more likely to make a healthier baby, so actually, getting rid of old sperm is a good thing
