It'll go away in due time. Most guys go through what you're going through.

It sort of happens to me, exept I have two main pitches, high (like high Norah Jones) and normal. I can try to go in between, but I have try real hard to do that.

Quick information about male singing...

As a guy goes through puberty, and his voice changes, he has a tendency to sing "lower" than he should. Guys only have 1 break in the voicing, while girls have two, and with practice, you can eventually do a full scale with out the breakage. :)

For guys, there's four main parts, 1 and second base, and 1 and second tenor. 1 tenor being the highest, and 2nd base being the lowest. In most parts, and barber shop always, 2nd tenor is given the lead. If you haven't settled into your "adult" voice yet, the guys can sometimes sing alto or soprano. Some guys can still sing soprano as adults, and they are really sought after.

If you have any interest in singing at all, then I suggest joining a choir at your school. Most schools have several ones, one advanced mixed, one all lady's, and one for just guys. They can teach you a lot of stuff, not only music related, and more then likely will be looking for guy's anyways. And you don't need to know how to read music or sing to join, as they will gladly teach you.

Hope I helped! :)
