How did u finish Fallout new vegas

So i was wondering how others finished it and what type of character.
i chose to go with the NCR and i would kill everyone else.I played a guns blasing character what about u guys

Since the fucking game is in Germand and I have no fucking idea what the fuck is going on I couldn't finish it and eventually irradiated my character to death in a vault. But of course, before that I killed many people whom I should have protected, and helped many factions and people which were supposed to be my enemies so no sir I couldn't finish the game.

Fucking game had a lot of shit bugs.
Went with NCR and was extreamly disappointed with the story.

Yes i agree the story was crap.And honestly i had 1 quest bug and 2 crashes in my playthough.I think this game was screwed up

I had 3 invisibile kingboss scorpions attacking me while my body parts were all cripples. Attention, the point is not the body parts, it's the invisible kingboss scorpions!

On another occasion one was BELOW the ground. Jesus...

When I went into the water my hair disappeared.
I falled off the map.
Shit attacked me for no reason.
Dead body's talked to me.
Dead body's falled off the map and made weird noises.

I gained a lot of patriotism for the NCR for some reason and backed them to the end. Always siding with the greater power that seems to be doing the right thing :P
I'm also in love with the Brotherhood so I was able to arrange complete cooperation between the two forces at the battle of Hoover Dam.

I'm replaying now with the idea of letting either myself or Mr. House gain power, with the idea of developing a tax haven state similar to ideology of Monaco :P

Yeah i did the same Got the brotherhood of steel to help me and the NCR.I think getting the brotherhood to help comes from loving them in fallout 3 and liking power armour

Power Armor was pretty weak, imho. The only real benefit I got out of it was the rad resistance. I personally love the ranger armor from the Reily's Rangers quest. It doesn't offer rad resistance, but nothing that popping a bit of Rad-X won't help.

I didnt say i used it i said that was the reason for me choosing the brotherhood and my armour was the combat armour renforced MK2 and helmet MK2

since no one has answerd the OP's questioni will ;)
I advise getting the brotherhood of steel powerarmor as its good and fairly easy to get.
i allways prefered Guns as high as possible, speach as high as you can get because for the last boss 100 speach is very helpfull, (unless you just wanna kill everyone). lockpick saves alot of time and running, and strength for the bag space and better aiming.
the wild wastland perk is very good because the alien blaster is AMAZING so save the ammo for the last few bosses.
i did this because i like to RP alot in it and get to know my character and max out the levels so i didnt want to go in al guns blazing-die-retry.
Just keep doing the questions for the robot dude (forgot name) and youl have to do some stuff for cesears legion too, do that and youl find the ending.

First playthrough, I was just all for working with House. Other playthroughs I'm just focussing on achievements now, but honest to god the game is full of glitches, it's disgusting. I should have completed 3 missions and unlocked 3 achievements but it's just stalled saying the quest is active with nothing to do, and so on. I would have expected to have them fixed before they started work on expansions, or at least release a patch with an expansion.. But no.. They're too lazy. -.-

With Fallout 3 and vegas there is no way to fix all bugs and crashes without more its a fact to the game :( and i know what u mean i would have about 5 achievments by now

I picked it up this firday and went on a rampage and completed it I mixed about by going from good to bad and I was a melee person I discovered Oh baby around level 8 and before that I used the gaunntlet thing with blades on it only one or 2 hit kill on most people then Oh baby came into play and that was one kill hit on most poeple

In the end I went independant and I ruled the strip if people are wondering how it ends if you go independant "Yes Man" helpped me through it and well in the end i got the legion to surrender "for now" it said and I chucked general oliver or whatever his name was off of hoover dam (I choose to reactivate the bots that were at the fort in the legions base) So then my army turns up and we talk with ovliver and then the game ends waiting to download the first of the DLCs for fallout new vegas right know lol.

Overall good game and as I came into it late and it was on patch 1.07 I was luckly and I had no bugs that i could recognize apart from one thing where that weird looking prosititue goul would not show up in my rooom but who cares.

I'd have to say NCR was my favorite, they wanted to restore America to it's former glory where as the legion wanted to consolidate power for itself

the glitches where throught the fucking roof!!!!

I think ign said that Fallout 3/NV is a game thats 95% done

like could they not fix those bugs in a patch? we can patch up problems now as opposed to recalling games like with PS2

i'm really dissapointed with Bethesda, I let it slide with 3 but I'd atleast think that if they were managing they would've done something about the problems

I came into the game really late with patch 1.07 (ps3) and it was good very good no glitches except one but that did not affect me I just wasted 25 caps lol not a big deal lol

Blame Obsidian, Bethesda merely provided them with the materials as far as i'm aware.
