Let me start of by saying that in my entire life I have never believed or thought that anything related to people having psychic abilities was true. In the past year there have been over twenty times when I have known something was going to happen before it actually happened. In most cases I became aware between 1-2 minutes of the event actually occurring. I did a quick Google search and came up with Extrasensory perception. In all of the times this has occurred to me a though all of a sudden pops into my head. When I get these thoughts I think nothing about it until 1-2 minutes later when that thought becomes reality. I believe this is more than just many coincidences. These thoughts just randomly pop into my head; the thoughts are not related to any other thought they are completely random. After having so many of these events I am now afraid to think of anything in my mind because I am fearful of that event becoming true. Some nights my mind will just be racing through many different scenarios and I am unable to go to sleep because I am so fearful of this becoming reality.

Hmm, don't know of anyone with this "ability" but I do have a friend who says she sees ghosts and has a spirit guide who is with her all the time...

ESP, or "being psychic"(clarivoyant, in this case) isn't a mental illness, it's a gift.

^Not if you can't tell what's going to actually come true or not...

Maybe you're just extremely calculative and your subconscious is taking in all of what you see and making calculations to predict what could happen next, then sometimes it slips into your conscious. It's like when you have deja-vu, a theory to explain it is that your subconscious process the information and stores it in your memory faster than your conscious, making you feel as if the situation has happened before.

It's nice to hear about someone else who does this. My entire life I've felt things before they happen or, more often, have dreams about it. I see auras too, which is quite miserable most of the time...It sounds insane, but I'm not.
This isn't a mental illness (I don't think...0_0), and it really isn't a gift in my case ether. It's just a difficult state of circumstances.
If you ever wanna talk, feel free to PM me!

Wow...
I actually think I have this too... I'm currently really shocked...
Just talked to my mom about this, she thinks it's more like a link to your spiritual guide.
Tho I don't actually believe in this... I'll just aggre with my mom...

My parents say I'm a "sensitive", like I'm in sync with something. I don't know...

It is called the gift of fear. There is a book about it. look it up and read it. but don't think to much about what could happen because you will become insane.

Except, with me anyway, it's not always about fear or worrying about things that are going to happen. I've dreamed about natural disasters before they happened. I'm not terribly worried about that, but I still knew it was going to happen.
