Ok so here's the deal.... My sister wants to get her belly button and tung pirced ...but my parents don't want her too ... She keeps asking me wat I think... Tips.......? The weird part about this is right before she asked me I had gotten my ears pirced for the 2 time ... But I'm waiting till I turn 18 to get tars and any other pircings

Well depending on the age of your sister if her parents still have legal authority over her then you should encourage her to follow her parents wants until she has her own authority over her life. If shes under her own authority then you should support her if shes sure thats what she wants to do and if you also think those piercings will fit her (much like how i explained in your other thread). If they dont match her style then she could end up regretting it and wasting money getting them done

Honestly i think at the end of the day its her choice, because its her body. Just warn her how much it hurts to have it done (i know myself i have my belly done) and try to scare her off that way if you dont want her to get it done. If she asks your opinion, tell her its her body, but its a big descision to make. Because you cant just "take it out" because they leave permanent scars, tell her to obey your parents and really think about it in depth, dont let her rush into any descisions.

haha. im pretty sure god made every beautiful =D but humans tend to think their not thus putting make up, piercing ,etc thus destroyin their body

why? who are the parents to tell her what she can or cannot do with their body?

ugh it infuriates me to no end when parents try to tell their kids what they can and cannot do when it comes to victimless things like peircings and tatoos

I would be happy if my kid protested me and told me to F off if I told them to do something that infringed their rights like personal stuff



My advice to you sarah14 is tell your sister to do it anyway, you shouldn't bend over backwards for your parents like that, they don't own her or your body.
