How do i go through a first date?

this girl added me on facebook (we have mutual friends) about 2 months ago and she goes to a different highschool in my city. well recently she told me she wanted to hangout with me, and we've been texting and everything. then i was talking to my bestfriend and she told me about taking her out on a date. but idk what to do/say. Ive never met her in person, so taking her out or meeting her will be the first time. any advice?

First it would be best to meet up and go for a walk or something before anything major takes place. Then for the next time you guys meet up you should take her out for dinner if you have the money or cook her something you two would enjoy and have a candlelight dinner.
