IE9 is my primary browser.
I use the IE9 shell with the IE10 engine behind it for tinkering with.
And I use Chrome when I need to browse a Google site. (Because for SOME reason Google sites don't dsiplay properly in IE)

I use Chrome.

I use Chrome. Chrome ftw

IE last I used was very very very slow at home. Unless things have changed and they've boosted speeds up in the browser itself. Firefox was another that seemed to crash every day of the week. Chrome seems to be the only browser behaving though I would LOVE to use either IE or FF for basic browsing usage and possibly more coding stuff as I can only do a little bit of testing through FF and IE for my sites otherwise it crashes and half the time I have to restart the computer.

IE and Chrome run the exact same speed at home. I don't notice any change. Though, when I went onto the MineCraft website Internet Explorer had trouble loading it than Chrime. Probably because Chrome able to read HTML fully than IE and Fire Fox. I notice that the browsers seem to lack reading some HTMl in certian things on sites. IDK why.

My problem could be based on how much crap I have on the computer. I mean I have iTunes, Filezilla... coding programmes... lots of different softwares that take up lots of space. And the computer at home has very low disk space that is why I want my laptop back up and running but stupid motherboard and I do not have the cash to get it fixed at the moment. May need to get a loan... hmm.

The home computer I'm using as shit loads of crap either, doesn't slow it down. Expect when you start the computer, you have to wait a bit. But, thats okay. I have a bunch of burning dvd and cd crap, iTunes, messangers, old games that I downloaded like WOlfenstein 3D and Rocks n Diamonds, MineCraft etc. Just useless. lol But internet runs fine unless its flash games. It has trouble with that. thats why I use my school laptop.

same. except my school didn't bother to install Chrome. I have to use IE, and IE9!!! It's okay, but I totally hate the location of the tabs. and as usual, IE sucks. I would use Firefox but I want to install adblock and well I can't do that

You can install AdBlock on Firefox....https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
Or did I misread that?

Jess

I can't install it on Firefox because of my school. I went to the addons site on Firefox at school and I can't access it at all

before I could though, in 9th grade, I was able to install a theme, but I didn't think of installing adblock...should have done that

I used to have Firefox but got sick of the crashing it did. Chrome has some issues but it doesn't crash and then refuse to restart.

Opera, Chrome, and very rarely, FireFox. Opera is by far the fastest browser i've ever used, and Turbo, though kinda hard on me makes it 3x better when it works. Never heard of Konquerer though. I'll look it up.

Firefox started crashing and I downloaded Chrome.

I like Chrome. How ever, I have to do my Internet Banking with IE, because my bank have banned search engine results, like Google, and recognizes Chrome as being a search engine.

Alexithymia
September 8th, 2011, 11:27 PM
Chrome. Why? Because IE sucks. Period. Then Firefox is much better, but it has (or had, I should say) a few issues that made it just... bleh. I downloaded Chrome, loved it. I still used Firefox occasionally, but loved Chrome. Then I got my new computer, decided to try Firefox instead for a bit, but it refused to work with my computer. *shrug* So I use Chrome.

All the school computers came with IE, but I installed firefox on mine, I care that much.

Doesn't IE give you virus's?

I've used IE, Firefox, Opera and Chrome. On each computer I've got I have those.

2006-2007 IE6
2007-June 2011 Firefox
Opera for the faster and lighter occasional browsing, and on my uncle's laptop.

I downloaded chrome with Google earth and tried it and got used to that one. It's fast and nice.
