Yay for me! I finally started a diet. I just thought I would share with you all what I've been doing. . .
Starting after school ended, I cut my intake of junk food, soda, and fast foods.
I started staying away from eating at places like Burger King or McDonald's and focused on home-cooked stuff.
I stopped drinking soda. I am drinking bottled water. Sometimes, I add a flavor packet to the water, but not too often. I drink Gatorade occasionally, along with tea. I also drink milk from time to time. But other than that, no other drinks.
Over the summer, I began talking walks in the park. I was walking at least a mile each time. Toward the end of summer, I began doing some sit ups in bed before I went to sleep. :P
So, the new school year is now in session, and I have two gym classes. The exercising is sure to help me lose some weight.
I went into the doctor last week, and I weighed around ten pounds less than I did about two or so months ago. I'm extremely proud of that.

Anyway, I posted this to let you all know about my current lifestyle and diet/fitness plans. I was wondering if anyone is doing something similar like this, and if so, how is it working for you?
Also, do you have any other tips or anything to help me out? Everything is appreciated.
Thanks guys! :D

Update- 31 August, 2011:
I decided that when I am able to, I'm going to buy myself a swimsuit and try to start swimming. I think I'll do it on weekends and days off of school for at least one hour. I'll work on laps and such. It depends on what mom says, along with the family who has the swimming pool. :P
Thanks guys! :D

Im on a whole new diet too :) It started since spring when I cut off drinking soda, coffee and eating junk carbs. I actually workout every morning for 30 minutes and eat healthy, especially protein packed meals and greens. Right now, I pretty much lost fat but replaced them with muscles so my weight is still the same, which I am happy about...I also try to sleep at least 8 hours and drink tons of water.
