cool....I have fiber optics from Verizon......My state was like one of 3 states that have it.

You lucky north big city people! We aren't geeting it for at least another year probably. And it will be more than 3 times a regular cable connection. It will be about 10-20 times as fast. They coauld start renting out movies through there also, they could pretty much do w/e the heck they want with all that bandwidth...

Im content with my cable modem :) I got a connection thats actually faster than T1 :D

T1: 1.5 Mb/s down 196 Kb/s up
Mine: 3 Mb/s down 256 Kb/s up

W00T :)

though i still think thats awesome moody :)

We have fiber Optic Phone lines. I know that doesn't qualify as anything, since it's not cable or DSL, but whatever. They don't offer either here, so...
