how come VT cant be viewed in HTTPS ???? :what:

Because VT has no SSL certificate. And we don't have the funds or need for it, either.
They cost about $60 per year.

And besides, it's not like we're sending credit card data or anything on here...

because there's little to no justification for that level of security for this forum.

Even on a number of popular 'big' forums I am a member on there is no SSL certificate.

SSL is for sites such as auction type sites like Ebay etc. Not really for discussion communities.
