Actor Dan Aykroyd recently appeared on Dennis Miller's radio program where he dropped some interesting tidbits about Ghostbusters 3.

Back in March, we reported that Ghostbusters 3 may be director Ivan Reitman's next movie, if Bill Murray signs off on the script. According to Dan Aykroyd, they are still unsure if Bill Murray will sign on yet. Take a look at what he had to say below.

Ghostbusters WOULD NOT be the same without Murray. Do you think he'll eventually sign on to the script and be in the film?

I hope so! I love Ghostbusters, but it just wouldn't be the same without him.

If he doesn't then Dan will have to come up with a different script and work out how to do the film without Murray which would be difficult considering Murray acted as the main character in the film.

You realize how old Bill Murray is, right? If he played a central part in the third film, it would blow. The man is a legend, but he's well past his acting prime.

So because someone is such an age they can't play their character again? ...

He's past his prime as an actor. Name the last good film he starred in, or played a significant role.

Haven't seen it, but I didn't realize that the badger played a major role (does it?). Plus it's voice acting, which isn't quite the same.
