What all of you aren't realising is that you're giving Bieber exactly what he wants: attention. So you see, celebs are happy with any kind of attention, good or bad. They know that their fanclubs will argue with the haters, causing a big news story, and giving them attention.

And who won't have to work for the rest of their life? That's right, Mr. Bieber.
Who will be successful and happy? You guessed it, Mr. Bieber.
He already has more money than what many will earn in a lifetime, and it only increases. He can charge $500 for a front-row seat at a concert, and people buy it. With waiting lists, there are so many people that want it.
What will Mr. Bieber do if he opens the newspaper and sees no story about him? That's right, something outrageous. He might even go to the press and tell them "Hey I'm going to be at this place at that time and do something to make a great news story, be there". And because journalists are paid per story, of course they want their salary. So what makes it on the front page of the paper the next day? I'll let you take a guess at that. And the sales then go up, stock values rise, and the people who play their cards right get the big bucks.

The topic is discussed too much. The music sucks, but I really don't give two shits. I personally feel it is the epitome of Capitalism in the music industry and represents a collapse in the seriousness of music. However, it's not really my job to tell people that. The new wave of "young" musicians (i.e Rebecca Black, Justin Bieber) mixed with quasi-hip hop (derived from quasi-rappers like Usher) is simply the boy band idea renewed, but now we have multi million dollar companies capitalizing on it more than ever.

In short, Justin Bieber is simply a tool in the industry. His music is not unique. It's basically hip-hop mixed with popular music. However, I find that his attempts to "look" hip hop are sort of disgusting. Real rap is based off of poverty and the violence and bloodshed that can arise from it as well as the ways people can rise from this poverty. However, it is the kid's personal choice to pursue the field. As much as the music disgusts me, I really don't give a fuck.

I was just illustrating the point that you don't have to know somebody personally to hate them (although I did it a bit extremely). Personally, I hate him for the fact that he's profiting and gaining so much for something so talentless - but then again, I share that view for most mainstream artists, so I try not to pay any of them much attention.

Well Justin Bieber sort of is a poser, in the sense that he tries to look like a badass kid. Then you listen to his lyrics and his music style. It makes no sense. He looks like a douche in person -- the kind that feels morally superior to everyone and acts like the world has wronged him/her. I really don't know a lot about the kid, and I'm tempted to watch "Never Say Never" (that one movie about him) to find out more. I would not do that sober, of course, that would kill me and make my ears bleed.
