10 years ago today we lost one of the greatest musicians of our generation Aaliyah she passed away Aug. 25 2001 in a plane crash in the Bahamas just hours after finishing work on her video rock the boat the pilot had alcohol and cocaine in his system and the plane was overloaded by 700 pounds the crash took the lives of everyone on the plane she had just completed her final movie too queen of the damned she was truly an angel taken from us too soon so on this day we should celebrate her life so if you liked/loved her share your memories favorite songs if you had the chance to see her in concert share memories of that and baiscally just show her some love and if you didnt know who she was hopefully you will discover her music today

me i have loved her for years i remember the day she passed my sister came and told me and i could not stop crying i have always been a fan and always will be
